Well, many in the entertainment industry aren't in their right minds so I'm sure they won't have any problem finding new people!

I am waiting to see who becomes the new host, i agree new host should fit right in.

That's funny.

Lisa Ling was an unknown name when she started on The View. Unless you saw Elisabeth on Survivor, she also was an unknown.
Star and Joy weren't hugely famous either.
If the show is to last, it may be best for Barbara and Bill to go with unknowns to deflect some of the controversy . They should just start over.
Besides Oprah (and Starting Over!), The View used to be one of the best daytime shows.
Now, there's just Oprah!

Well, you may be right. They may go with more of an unknown, however what I was thinking is that since they went with Rosie and she was soooo over the top and caused the show to be featured on every station at least every week or two and all over the internet and magazines, they might want someone else who is also kinda famous.

I mean if they announce a new panelist that few people even recognize, it doesn't seem to me the majority of the audience would want to tune in and check her out.

Before Rosie, most all of the panel were little known names. Now I think there may be an expectation of notoriety, not that it is always a good thing.
