Starting Over Talk

Who would you like to see replace Rosie and maybe even Star on the view? There may actually be 2 spots open.

I think there were alot of suggestions on another thread.

One of them being Whoopie Goldberg. She actually cohosted yesterday. (Today was Suze Orman)

Other suggestions were Valerie Bertinelli or Marie Osmond.. Would be fun if Katie Couric would make the change back to daytime telly and maybe join the View.

I think they have maybe deliberately not filled Star's seat. Rather nice having a surprise cohost. Today's show had a financial/business theme running throughout the guests most likely because of Suze Orman.

Todays show was so relaxed and I enjoyed it!! Suzie knows her "stuff"!!
This is the type of show that I like!! How it was when it first came out! It was so calm!!

It would be interesting to see Marie O or Valerie as hosts.....Whoppie would make it fun!!

Guess we wait and see what happens, especially after Elizabeth has her baby.

I must say that Whoopie does a great job. I don't know how they could do much better than her. I have heard that she has turned the job down. She will only come in part-time. Of course that might work.

KPW, you had a great idea with Katie Couric. I think she is miserable on the evening news and I think CBS is ready to get her out of there. I think she would be GREAT.

I had an idea when Rosie left that she should court CBS to give her a show in The View time slot. Rosie should convince Katie Couric and Matt Lauer to come on her show....sort of a news, talk, entertainment program, containing similarities of The View but many differences....and not another Today Show.
I think people would respond to it. I think Matt is ready to leave The Today Show. I think The View would be hard pressed to compete with a show like that.

I also think Gayle King would be great for The View.

I like Suze Orman but don't know If I could handle her more than once a week...lol

I hope it will be somebody interesting!

I really like Marie Osmond for the permanent seat if she'd be interested! And it does make it interesting to have a revolving guest co-host!!!
