You got that right. She's a smart business woman. Remember she kinda got into it with one of her fellow judges on that talent show last year. I think the show got canceled. She can be outspoken.

I think one of the reasons the Donny and Marie talk show was canceled was Marie's depression. That was some time around 1999-2000 I think. She was was pregnant on the show and after the baby was born, she had a terrible time. She came back to the show, but, it was soon canceled. I think she may have come along way since then with therapy and/or medication.

I know Donnny keeps his family in Utah and travels around. I'm not sure if Marie is based in California or Utah. A move to NY with all those kids would be huge. I think a couple of them are college age or older.

Joy may not like Marie much, but that's okay. The panel now sees how opposing opinions can boost ratings. At first I thought Rosie and Joy and Elisabeth would be so opposed to each other that they would be ripping each other's head's off. As it turns out, they are quite chummy. Rosie and Elisabeth actually go out together and do things with their kids, go to concerts, etc. I never thought I would see that kind of acceptance. So, never say never.

Maybe some sparring between Marie and Joy would keep people watching. If they don't do something pretty spectacular, I fear the rating are going to drop when Rosie leaves.

I think Marie can give it right back to Joy. Sometimes I agree with each of them, and sometimes I disagree with each........it makes for interesting discussions and good ratings!!!!!

But Joy gets very, very judgemental.........ie: about having several or more children.............and actually calls it irresponsible and wrong...............to Marie's face!!!! When Joy ever has anyone get judgemental and use the word "wrong" or "irresponsible" about her she gets HUGELY P.O.ed!!!! I like the possibility of someone on there to level out the stuff Joy says just to get a rise out of someone.

I think Joy was stressing her disapproval of the Dugger family who have 16 birth children. Marie actually birthed 2 or 3 children, the rest are adopted. She refused to say how many on the show recently, but she has said before. I think Joy said she had a problem with people actually having that many and not adopting that many.

Rosie told Joy she should move to China where you can only have 1 child legally due to their population control. NOt sure if that is still the law there.
I think Rosie was just kidding about that. LOL.
