I think they were follow up shows to a show I did see about 2 weeks or week and a half ago. They did show some previews about the update and having been saying that it is bizarre. I didn't pick up where they were from when I saw the first show. He seemed desperate. Desperate people do desperate things!

I am really concerned for her! He sounded like he needed more than just a restraining order! I think today is supposed to be another followup. I'll try to catch it!

Let me know if you figure out what part of Virginia they are from. I sure hope they aren't in my neighborhood! He's a nut!

At one point they showed the local news in VA reporting the man missing. He has just violated the order and made a comment that was taken as he might harm himself. I couldn't tell what station it was and they bleeped out his last name. Shortly after that broadcast he was picked up by police and put in jail.

I never saw the first part of the show that told how this man was early in the marriage. How did she get involved with someone so obsessive. He wanted to keep her trapped so badly that he faked a visectomy. He actually cut his groin to simulate the incision. What a nut. I think he is the kind of guy who could kill her and the kids and then blame her for making him do it.

Yesterday in my area, a young man went to the house of his former 17 year old girlfriend who was the mother of his young child and shot her in the back when she returned home from high school. He tried to get inside where the baby was and when he couldn't, he turned the gun on himself. She died and he is in critical condition. It breaks my heart to hear such tragic cases involving people who supposedly love each other.

Rats, I just got home and realize I forgot to set the vcr to record Dr. Phil. Maybe I'll catch them on reruns.. This one is bound to be rerun!

Last night I caught part of Leno's monologue and he had on Ross the Intern on doing a piece about the Kentucky Derby. I then flipped it to Letterman and Dr. Phil was on there! I think I might have caught him at the tail end of talking about Maureen.. I am not positive though..Seemed it lead into a discussion where Letterman started holding picts up of various people and asking Dr. Phil what was going on with them..

One was David Hasselhoff..Another was Paris Hilton, and a couple others..

But I thought it funny that some of our recent topics were on the late shows!

BTW, Ross looked great! Dr. Phil sounded like his season was wrapped up. He may have had knee surgery recently though. I'm sure his show will be rolling into reruns soon. I'll keep an eye on his website so to catch it again.

Yeah, I do remember the vasectomy story they shared. She thought that was kind of wierd that he wasn't very sore like some of her friends husbands had shared.

The news said the man was from Round Hill Virginia that is not to far from KP or me......YIKES!

I just happened to see the previews for the Dr. Phil show and the episode involving Maureeen McCormack. It will be on Tuesday.

I just saw a clip I hadn't seen before. I'm really curious about what is going on... ! The Dr. Phil clipped made it sound like there was something to the accusation of her being a psychopathic liar.. But then again...He could have just been repeating what her father had said.. Her father certainly didn't seem very loving.. in the confrontation piece I saw.. It looked like she was trying to confront him..

Anyway.. Make sure you set your recorders if you want to catch that episode.

Have any of you watched Dr. Phil the last several weeks?

He is definitely moving more and more towards shock television. It's becoming more and more of a Jerry Springer format. I mean he sits the people across from each other and allows them to start yelling at each other. He eventually tries to reign them in to listen to him, but not until they get all worked up, crying, swearing or whatever. I really liked it better when it was set up more in a therapeutic format.

The other day when the woman from VA was afraid of her husband after he left the Dr. Phil studio on his way back to treatment. He jumped from the car and disappeared from the Dr. and the cameras. The Dr. Phil producer was on her cell phone trying to get police help. They kept saying they were afraid he was going to come back to the studio to confront the wife. Wife was crying and acting terrifed. But, they all continued to stand outside the tv studio. Why not go inside where it was safer? Maybe they have security, but that guy was pretty sharp. He could con his way back into the studio area. It was just too much unnecessary drama IMO and that showed a lack of brains in their safety precautions.
