I didn't see the show, but going by your de_script_ion... wow... Dr. Phil and Jerry Springer may want to hook up.

Debby... if you watch tomorrow's show, please let us know what happened.

I saw previews of it last week but didn't catch it. I think had he really been a murderer and it was confirmed that it would have made the national news!

If he did that to intimidate his wife... then that is creepy and should be able to keep that restraining order!

Funny, (not really) But I just spent time with a friend going through problems with a husband who lies and tries to twist things into blaming everything on her. A couple years ago he was being verbally abusive and threatening. She's gotten more of a backbone since then and I don't know if that could just escalate things. He seems to have a darkside too.

With all the things you hear on the news sometimes, you wonder if it's how some of those things got started.

On today's show both parties were there. The husband admitts that he said all these things to his wife. He really believes they happened. He says about 2 years ago he stopped to help a girl who had a flat tire. He attempted to rape her but couldn't so he beat her to death and left her body in a wooded area off of the road. The police have not been able to locate the body. The FBI and local LE are working on it.

He also says he raped his ex-wife, but she never reported it. No word from her so far. I bet she's scared of this guy.

He says in the mid ninties, he was in the Gulf War. He was on leave and went to Macadonia (sp?) for R&R. He struck up a conversation with a woman in a bar, but then her boyfriend came in and the girl left with the guy. He got mad, followed them to the parking lot and killed both of them. He says he threw her body in a river.

The Husband got very irrate on the stage and started cursing the Polygraph examiner. He was blaming the polygraph man for most of his troubles. The guy is a psycho. He claims he has Post traumatic Stress Syndrome. Who knows? But it did seem very Jerry Springer when this guy went off and they were bleeping many of his words. He would have fought in a minute. When Dr. Phil asked him if that was a demonstration of his temper, he responded, You haven't seen anything yet.

Of course, the Wife has lifted the restraining order!!! She is as whacky as he is. Husband has agreed to receive psychiatric help and stay away from Wife and Kids until he gets better. Right..... The Husband resemebles the guy who lied to his wife about being in medical school and when he couldn't lie anymore, he killed her in bed and threw her body in a trash dump. He finally confessed. They are very much alike.

I pray he doesn't kill this woman.

I remember the story you referred to about the guy who lied to his wife about being in medical school and when he was caught he killed her. What I found frightening about that story was that up until that incident he appeared to be the nicest guy... his mother-in-law loved him, but he was leading a double life, and seemed to have snapped when his wife confronted him about the lies.

The jerk you are describing sounds more than a little troubled... I'm surprised that Dr. Phil had him and his wife on as guests. Oh, well.

Re:Dr. Phil 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Dr. Phil has gone from being an on air therapist to more of a talk show host. He is good about getting people in touch with treatment centers or couselors to help them, but he has moved away from who he was as a guest on Oprah. He was really good then and I enjoyed his message. He has gotten very far away from that kind of delivery.

Has anyone else watched the show recently? It seems as if I have not seen Robin in the audience as she normally is. Maybe I missed her, but usually she is very prominent and exits the stage with Dr. Phil. I have read in the tabloids that their marriage is on the rocks due to women going after Dr. Phil. Is that crazy or what? I don't know why, but I can't imagine that. LOL. Of course, I don't believe the stuff in those magizines, but still it made me wonder what was up.
