Debby, I have noticed the same thing,and I was beginning to think "Do they need more ratings"? I watched the show that you are referring to and it was on the border line of Jerry clashes with Phil! I felt at one point that maybe the producers were pushing for that drama,but who knows? I watched some show on VH1 about Springer Hustle and it sort of was sort of on the same page the producers were taking the "guest and pumping them up on what to say and what to do"! I am seeing more sensitive subjects,so I hope it doesn't go that route!

There was suppose to be a segmant on Maureen McCormack on Access Hollywood or Entertainment tonight but , I forgot which one and also forgot about it until it was too late. The commercial clip they showed was a question asked to Marie's about cocaine use.

I agree his shows are getting like springer. the one in the house with the stage moms and their kids is good.

Wish, I saw that one too about the stage moms. I was happy when Dr. Phil set them on the couch,and gave them a good look at themselves. I felt those mothers pushed to far! I just wonder how many of them took what he said to heart,or are they still being over bearing?

Now the one that the stage mom's sat on the couch was a little different. Those women needed to have their butt spanked and I don't even believe in corporal punishment. LOL. The one with the potty mouth should have been asked to leave. Her cursing in the children's presence was horrible. The lady has no class, no talent and is portraying her 13 year old daugther as a sex object.

What I saw on that show was verbal abuse IMO. To allow it to go on under your supervision and taping is condoning that abuse. I would think that those kids will one day ask why did Dr. Phil televised me being abused as a child and did nothing about it but air it and question their moms for 15 minutes?

Those mothers are out to lunch for sure. They ideals are so out of focus. They expect their child to be a great singer, but they don't give them singing lessons. They expect their child to perform on broadway, but they don't give her dancing lessons. IT IS CRAZY.
It's so sad to see how misguided these mothers are. Where are the fathers? Those children need some protection from these women IMO.

I could have fainted when you said Marie Osmond and cocaine in the same sentence. I didn't see that. I am shocked to say the least. I intend to look for more details. Let me know if you hear anything else.

Debby, I was shocked as well when they showed that clip with Maureen yesterday,and I really wanted to see that show. I forget about them til it's too late! For those interested,Access Hollywood is doing a second part interview with Maureen from the Brady Bunch at 7:30 tonight. I goofed up in a previous post and said it was Marie Osmond and they asked her about her cocaine use. Please forgive me for even printing false info on Marie. (my brain and my fingers were doing intirely two different things).
