A toast to those...
Here's to all those Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and whoever else may be raising a child or children because the parents didn't want them or they passed away or anything to that effect.
Knowing that you didn't have to, but you put your life on hold so that we could have the love, care, support, comfort, and everything else we needed in life.
Although it hurt us all our life not having a parent around, weather it be mom or dad, and sadly in a lo of the cases like my sister and myself neither of them. If you let it then it will destroy and control your life, but don't let that happen. Trust in GOD and turn to Him.
Here's a toast and honor, so much appreciation to all of you. You were always there for us, you loved us, hugged us, and kissed us. You wiped our tears away, you tied our shoes, you fed and clothed us all of our life.
You are the ones who set up all night long with us when we were sick, or had a nightmare, and you were the one who told us "there's no such things as monsters" and just to prove that point you checked under the bed and even in the closet.
You took us to the doctor if we did get sick, and even though at the time we hated it and it tasted so bad you always gave s our medicine so we could get better fast. The lack of appreciation is in this world today, but for once I'm saying thanks not only to my own Grandparents for all they did but also to all those others out there.
Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, no matter who you are you truly made a sacrifice just for us because you love us so much.
Sound familiar? Well it should, because Jesus died for all of us and wow! Now that was truly a sacrifice.
The Lord has already blessed those of you who did what you did, and not because you had to but because you wanted to and you loved us so much just as that's why Jesus died for us because He loves us so much and He wanted to set us free.
He will continue to bless each and every single one of you, so here's a toast to all of you. Yeah sure there's Mothers, Fathers, ad Grandparents day but still that's just not enough for me because we owe you so much.
Think about it though, what about aunts, uncles, cousins, and the siblings who do the work of a parent for whatever reason, there's not a aunts day, a uncles day, or a sibling day, nor is there a cousins day.
For all those of you who were not raised by your parents for whatever reason, weather it be because they passed away, medical reasons, or just because and they abandoned you stop and thank those who do love you and brought you up. The ones who God chose to bless you with.
Don't look at it as well why me, why did things have to be this way. Instead of letting it keep you down, or making you think that you're not worth anything or whatever, think of and look at the good and positive things.
I know how you feel, it's not easy and yes you will always have those days when it's just to hard on and for you we all do, but we have God number one and He will never leave or forsake us He promised us that.
We also have those who do care about us, so if you're someone who went through this I feel you don't worry I know exactly what and how you feel. Lets just thank and praise God for what He has done for us and brought us through, for blessing us with those who do care about us.
Here's a toast to all those who did everything they could for us, who was always there, who cared, who loved us, supported us, encouraged us, have us hugs, kisses, and said they love us. It's one of the best feelings in the world to know someone loves you so much, but to hear them say it really touches the heart.
The best feeling in the world is knowing that GOD is always there, and just how much He loves us. So much as to send His only SON die for us, to set us free from all our sins and the wrong doing.
If you're someone, or know someone whose parents did them like this and didn't raise them, or they may have passed away then please join in and pass this on as we really do owe so much to those who cared for and raised us.
