I just saw this story on one of the TV Magazine shows and the author of the article admited he made the whole thing up. He admited that the photos were his co-workers relatives too.

Someone asked me about this the other day and I did a search...It was originally attributed to a publication that had a history of hoax type stories.. That may be why the mainstream news media never even picked it up as a legitimate rumor..
Plus, I notice that the birth certificate listed Anna's stage name rather than all the other documents I've seen thus far using her real name of Vicky Lynn Marshall..
Glad the rumor/story got squelched quickly... You would know that someone would have been able to verify the birth certificate in Calif by just doing a name search..

Not surprised it was a hoax! When I read the story, I thought it would have been impossible to have kept that a secret all this time !
K...what was the original publication? On another forum, someone posted a link to " Splash", which was where I read about it. My curiosity was peaked, having only heard of Splash in regard to Virgie and Birkhead's "association" with it/them.<br><br>Post edited by: ceilidh, at: 2007/03/16 15:15
