It seems as if the political races are getting ready to get mean. I have steered clear of too much political talk on the board because I get so stressed about it. I guess I'll continue with that decision, but, I was just a little surprised to read about a major story on http;//www.msnbc.msn.com
It's a big story about a college thesis written by Hillary Rodham Clinton when she was 19 years old. The paper is a 90 page thesis about Saul Alinksy. He is described as the radical father of community organization. My research shows he was actually a Criminalist.
The story claims this paper written over 40 years ago may reveal who Hillary really is. The report indicates that the Clintons had Wellesly College keep the paper hush hush during the Clinton Administration. Apparently, now you can go to the school and read the paper. Everyone can draw their own conclusions.
I have thought about maybe running for some local political positions over the last few years.... Nothing too big, just county or state offices, but, I just get nervous. You never know what your opponents may come up with to tarnish your name. I recall writing a term paper in college. It was for an English literature class, but, we were supposed to add some modern day spin to it. I picked Othello. I wrote about Iago and anti-social personalities. I was a Criminal Justice major at the time. It sounds like a strange angle now, but, then I thought it was quite creative.
Can you imagine how humiliated I would be if that paper ever got out? Who knows what such a paper would say about the true Debby? LOL.
Do you think digging something up from that long ago is fair and does it really expose the content of someone's character?
