Well, I waited as long as I could. I thought someone else might comment of the story, but, since they haven't, I guess I will.

Just when I thought I couldn't be any more overwhelmed over a top story, I was again...not with Anna Nicole but Brittney. There has been so much speculation as to what is happening with her, but, the first thing that came to my mind is that she was trying to steal back the limelight. I know that sounds really bad, but, I really thought about it. The story on Anna Nicole has dominated the media lately. The party girls have not been on the cover stories quite as much.

I also wondered if she is scared the court could order her to take a drug test in regard to her custody case. Hair samples can detect drugs in the system for several months, much longer that a blood test can. If you want to start fresh and drug free, you would need to get rid of the locks.

Of course, most everybody is saying it is a cry for help. The problem is how do you help someone who refuses to accept it? I also wonder if she really might rather not have custody of the children.

Is Brittney mentally ill, alcoholic, or addicted to drugs? Or is she just living out a childhood she never had before due to her career demands?

It almost sounds like teen angst. She seems to be simply rebelling against everything. She seemed to have been going down that road for quite awhile. Don't blame her really.. as a young mother, she's been judged rather harshly.. I mean yeah she made a mistake with driving with Sean on her lap... she was judged for her nanny putting her son in a defective high chair, for tripping with her son in her arms... not much she has done as a mother has been seen as normal "first time mother" type mistakes. During this time, her career has been question because of her marriage to K-fed and all the stories of K-fed's partying and whatever marital problems that have been going on to cause her to walk out.

She seems to be jumping from one turmoil to another as if she really doesn't know where to go or do with everyone either telling her where to go and judging her for every decisions... then again I've seen publicity stunts...

I think it's one of those wait and see thing really... either way it's not looking good



I think it's one of those things that I need to step back and look at everything and see how they play out.

I had to chuckle yesterday when I saw a story calling Britney the leader of the 'Brit-pack'.. A play on words of the old 'Brat Pack'.. of the 60's!

I mentioned somewhere in an Anna post that one person on a cable program talking about the Anna situation... is that someone should tie Britney to a chair and make her watch coverage 24/7!

Who's got the boys? K-Fed may very well get custody if she doesn't get her act together. But I doubt he really wants them..

I heard she checked into rehab and checked back out within 24 hours.. Then went and shaved her head and got new tattoos..

I don't understand why the celebs claim that they hate all the media attention yet they allow them to photograph them while shaving their head. I assume she allowed that photograph of her to be taken in the hair salon. What in the world would the celebs do if nobody showed up to photograph them? If they were ignored by the press, they would freak out. After a couple of weeks with no press coverage, they would be calling and begging for the cameras to return.

If you think you have been unfairly portrayed as a bad parent, then why parade around like a party queen, dancing, drinking, showing your crotch, and acting like an out of control person. Why not just be yourself, stay sober, associate with people who really care about you and stay at home and take care of your children? Why must even a young person go out partying everynight? That's just strange. Nobody said that you can't go out and have fun, but, within reason.

Everybody, including myself has talked about how Anna Nicole loved her son, Daniel. But, I think about all the years that she stumbled around drugged up and not able to even talk very clearly. She admitted that Daniel was her rock and kept her sane. He was really her caretaker. He was more like the parent than she was. Isn't that really selfish of a parent to put that role on their child? Wouldn't real love for the child cause you clean up your act so you can make your child's life better? If your children are so important to you, why run full speed down the path of destruction.
Everyone complains and says that nobody helped save Anna Nicole, but, people are trying to save Britney, but she won't hear of it. Was saving Anna really possible?<br><br>Post edited by: Debby, at: 2007/02/20 12:41

Word has it that she checked herself into rehab again today.

I really feel bad for her. She makes a lot of the same types of mistakes many women her age make but everything is caught on camera. I know I wouldn't want to be in her place!!!
