Howard K. Stern has said that Larry is welcomed to come to his home for has long as he wants and spend time with his daughter and that he wants a slow transition into households and he's not fighting for custody if Larry has custody.

I'm not so sure that I would feel comfortable staying anywhere around Howard...considering the way people around him keep turning up dead and all. Thanks, but no thanks. LOL.

Seems that Vergie is going to try to go for joint custody.. Lawyer said joint and then Vergie said she just wants to be her grandmother. Hopefully she doesn't cause trouble after the custody hearing on Fri<br><br>Post edited by: TigerRose, at: 2007/04/10 16:21

She has said all along that she hoped Birkhead was the father.. and she seemed genuinely happy today of the results. I think she had to maintain footing if possible on the outside chance that Birkhead wasn't the father.. I think she primarily wanted that baby away from Stern...and would be happy just being able to see the baby and being part of her life. I will be really shocked to see if she really pressed for guardianship. I don't think that she has a leg to stand on. Unless she is a bridge to getting Dannielynn back to the U.S. Seems the Bahamas tend to favor grandmas over single fathers.. I think it's possible that she might get temporary custody. But I do think Larry and her seemed to bond to some degree in the Florida hearings and she has been sympathetic to his position.

I think she was genuinely happy today! At least that issue (paternity) is settled and the baby will soon be out of Stern's domain. Once Birkhead gets custody, Stern will have no say in Virgie being able to see her grandaughter!

No surprise with the DNA results. Happy for Larry's happiness, sad for Howard's sadness.

I think the best case senerio is that all parties behave themselves and work together. Unless proven to be harmful themselves.. might be a nice life for her if she lived with Larry, got to visit Grandma, and have an &quot;Uncle&quot; Howard in her life... but what are the odds that everyone would put aside their difference. I don't think the custody is going to be the end of it. With millions at stake, might be a fight IF they ever get it the millions. Sounds like the Marshalls plan on fighting every dollar and prepared to pass on the fight.

But I think Larry needs to be cautious once he has his daughter... really work on her security and be prepared that she might not get the inheritence if that would keep her safe and secure.
