Her mother and sister was on the Dr Ablow show. I didn't see that particular interview but he was on the Today show with couple of other people. Dr Ablow said that her mother did say that if she caught her daughter drinking underage or on drugs she would definately arrest her and send her to jail. Also that her father did up and leave that did bring up abandoment issues and that Anna Nicole was constantly looking for proof she was loved.

There was also mentioned that Daniel once said that he loved his grandmother and Anna told him that he wasn't to say that to anyone else but her.

Details keep emerging...

I read the article yahoo had linked about the coroner's report..
It was a piece on E online..

Apparently she had a bruise on her back and they said she fell in the bathtub in the hotel several days before.. It also mentions that there were no illegal drugs found in the room (wouldn't take long to clear that out by her entourage) but prescription meds were found. All in Stern's name. To me that shows that he was the one who had control of her medications. I hope they look into that alot more..
Another interesting thing.. This article said that the nurse and the bodyguard were married to one another.. yet neither were with her when she fell unconscious. If her condition whether it was the flu or whatever was that bad she shouldn't have been left by herself..

I just keep finding more odd things everytime I read something. This morning there was an article about the mansion in the Bahamas.. Apparently Anna claims it was a gift from a realtor that she had had a relationship with. He said he loaned them the property.. Now it's a mess because both sides are making claims to the property. If he signed over the house so that she could say she owned property and be able to establish residency... then he was just as much at fault for trying to help them. I guess they'll have to figure out if any money ever exchanged hands..

I hear that Stern has said that he found Anna floating in the backyard pool facedown some time ago (since Daniels death).. But he rescued her and supposedly performed cpr.. He attributed that to a suicide attempt. I sure hope some of that is documented... He would have been remiss if he hadn't gotten her help or to the hospital over that incident.

I just don't trust Stern.. Anna's been so far out of it... that all the legal wrangling must has been directed by him.. I think he is banking on the fact that his name is on the birth certificate, than he might be able as her parent to control the money if and when it ever comes down from the Marshall estate. It sounds like it is bound to eventually!

I also heard that they were in Florida to buy a boat. To me even that seems strange..

She definitely was an opportunist, which is not the side of her that people automatically think of, since she also seemed to be so controlled by outside influences, drugs, men, lawyers, money. But she did take advantage of others too. And the mother's disapproval makes perfect sense. What mother would approve? It's not clear to me though what the mother did to help Anna - or whether she had the chance to do that after Anna cut her out of her life. I have never heard details of why Anna expressed such antagonism, even hatred toward her mother - but at the same time, she allowed her mother to take care of the son for years. But as TigerRose says, Anna was abandoned by her father, and sometimes a child who is abandoned by one parent villifies the parent who stays, and romanticizes or blocks out the one who left. After all, the parent who stays may be angry and depressed, and ends up doing all the discipline and dirty work, which doesn't endear them to the child. It's easier to romanticize the missing parent - or hate the one who is present -than to face the pain of the abandonment head on. Instead she seemed to look for replacement-men to love and validate her.

Mazzy...I certainly understand that Anna'a mother would not approve of her lifestyle! It's just that I have not heard the woman say anything kind or loving about her dughter...ever.
I believe they had been estranged for some time, but still...there seemed no compassion for... Anna's... loss of Daniel...as I said, only blaming. Maybe her life in law enforcement has &quot;jaded&quot; her..who knows? Re the phone call, I had one very similar to that when my brother-in-law died...I understood that his brother was simply unable to say more at the time...

K....it seems that there are varying &quot;reports&quot; out there, only adding to the general confusion! The one I heard said that &quot;prescription medications were removed from the hotel room..some...of which were in Stern's name. &quot; I didn't hear what they were...But, as I have never seen him looking &quot;under the influence&quot;, one can only &quot;surmise.&quot; As I have said before, he was so completely besotted with Anna Nicole that I think he would have done anything she wanted him to do. I used to think he was the only &quot;level headed&quot; one in her entourage!! Hard to know what to think now. Last night I heard that his mother and sister are the ones taking care of Dannielynn at the moment.

You know, I keep hearing him referred to as her lawyer, but all these other lawyers keep popping up saying that they were her legal representatives!! I think he did represent her in her initial claim re the Marshall estate, but have not heard of him being in court in recent times.

Hard to know what to believe...
