Starting Over Talk

I was looking at Tvone's schedule trying to find out if possibly SO had gotten picked back up by them...

Looking at tomorrow or Tuesday's schedule.. caused me to catch something about Star Jones.. Seems like it is her first project post 'The View'...

Great picture of Star Jones... her face looked beautiful.

I guess Star looks good in the photo, but, I don't know that it really looks like her, at least, the way I saw her last. Maybe she had some work done or maybe it's the makeup or maybe it's air brushing. I do wish her the best.

I'm surprised that this special didn't get much if any press. As I said, I just stumbled on the info. Considering the bruhaha of last year..I sure would have thought it would have been newsworthy. But then again, I don't know how large tvone is. Maybe it was a syndicated production.. testing the waters.

I did hear a rumor that she had called Trump to congratulate him about the feud with BW and Rosie.. I'm sure she was full of glee over the bruhaha...

Not sure if she did... She probably shouldn't have if she did.. Just makes her look silly. I'm sure she wouldn't have wanted him to tell the public if she did..

Trump obviously can't be trusted as a friend.... If it would allow him to gain something, he'll betray you in a heartbeat!

I saw most of Star's show. It was an overview of issues that were the most important to the African American community in 2006.
It covered several topics, such as Katrina financial relief that has never come, education problems, health issues, the military, etc.
She interviewed some great people and I thought what they said was informative, but, it just lacked something.

It looked like a local community television report. Star was very somber and appeared as if she has as much experience as a local news reporter. Star had the same _expression_ in every scene. She hardly said anything during the program. Many times you didn't even get to hear her ask a question. They started with the person being interviewed just talking. There was hardly any interaction between Star and them. I'm not sure if she was really present for some of the interviews.

I hope the show improves. I don't think it will make it as it is now.
It looked as if Star is not very happy. I think she even looked embarrassed a little, but, still, it's honest work. Many would love to have a position like that. I will say that she didn't look anything like that photo on the site listed above.
