He did go in really early.....and this storm is moving slower than last week's. That's why it's actually supposed to dump more snow!! But only if it stays slow and stalls over us........so we'll just have to wait and see!

I-25 is already on the Chain Law........it's nasty!!

DH got home around 2:30........he left Denver at noon.........slow going!!! He could have had a hotel room, but he said he just wanted to get more work done and slept in his sleeping bag on the office floor.........but he was sore the next day!! Not quite as young as he used to be!!!

Thanks for checking in mazzy........we're all staying put and cozy now!! I'll keep you updated on the amount of snow if it dumps the 3 feet by Sunday they're calling for!!!

Please tell me you guys have a snow blower? The thought of all that shoveling boggles my mind! We sure are spoiled now aren't we! In my area some people have them some don't... We rarely get big snows anymore.

Nope! No snow blower................hubby and son take turns shovelling! My son went to shovel a bit of our elderly neighbor's walkway, but snow is still falling, so we'll likely have to wait until later Sunday to do that!

We did manage to get to the store.....it's tough, but we've got a great vehicle and good tires.

If the storm does it's wrap around we'll get hit again tomorrow and Sunday.......we're in a bit of a lull right now. We've got such huge piles of snow.....the kids all love it!!!!

WOW... thanks for the update... Brrrrr... I'm originally from New York... the most snow we ever had was 27 inches... according to DH... he remembers more clearly as he was in charge of removal... LOL. I was in charge of making the hot chocolate, but my daughter and I did help.

We had a snow blower, and it was useful if you used it before the snow piled up... if it got too deep it was useless.

The second storm moved out fast, so not quite as bad. Still lots of fun snow. My dogs are just loving it!! Of course, THEY don't have to shovel it!!! LOL

The wind is still something though......so it gets cold so quick when trying to be outside. I'm loving all our snow.......hopefully we won't have quite the drought and fire issues this coming summer!!
