The song on Lisa A's myspace is supposed to be by Iyanla Vanzant. It sounds like her doing the spoken word parts and the myspace site she got it from is labeled Iyanla Vanzant. Here is the myspace it came from:

I wonder if it was the same one or poem that she performed at Antonia's poetry slam? It was spoken.. but I remember it being very beautiful..but I don't recall specifics.. maybe Lisa A's myspace will refresh my memory.

Oh btw, I see the _link_ says iyanlavanzant.. I recall their being a iyanla vanzant fan club myspace site...and people assuming it was her at first.. I am certain she didn't have a myspace..and doubt that she would ...

I think someone is just using her name here... Unless Iyanla moved to Massachusetts... which is possible. She's originally from Baltimore and i think lived near Annapolis and her business is in Silver Spring, Md.

Maybe an admirer and aspiring muscician put to music one of Iyanla's poems. Just a possibility.

This site is pretty young looking.. although 6 months old. I just don't see that Iyanla would resort to myspace when she has her own website.

Did some research... Came up with this hit.. Looks like it is an older product (that maybe has been redone or rereleased)...This CD looks like it is actually various artists and might have been done in conjunction with her book.

By the way, I could SWEAR that voice is that of Whitney Houston, (singing). It could be an old release but I heard she's going to be launching a come back...could it be? Maybe Iyanla has helped her...who knows?

I think Natalie Cole sang the original version, not sure, but that definitely sounds like Whitney Houston to me!
