Rosie comment was "as a gay woman this is how it came off to me" being as a gay issue..

Well all I have to say my view of

not being a gay woman

It was wrong!

I wouldn't care if he wasn't gay and was a woman.. it's not right to put your hands over anyones mouth that is disrespectful I think.

I totally agree with you.

It's a shame that because Rosie is openly gay that she had to see things as a "gay issue". Personally I don't care who is gay and who isn't, I don't care what their race is, their religeon, or where they come from.... Manners and respect is something everyone not only should recieve but to give as well. Not everything is against something just lack of consideration or not paying attention.

I want to mention, that I am not a fan of this lady. Anyhow I do find that Clay was in the wrong.. but does anyone else remember sometime in late October where Mrs. Kelly was gross and disrespectful herself ... Kelly had put her hands on Regis!

She had put her fingers in her mouth and goobered all over them and smeared her fingers on Regis face.
( who knows where her hands might have been at that time). So she is no angel either!

Doesn’t matter who you are if you’re the pope, or the president.

Couldn't agree with you more!!
We used to watch Rosie when she had her own show and loved it. When it was stated that she would be hosting The View I thought good she's going back on TV.
I do have to say after watching The View I have another "view" of Rosie. She seems to be very bossy, and overtaking the show.
I was really pissed when her response with Kelly. I, for one, and not being a gay women, didn't take that any way of being gay!!
I am really tired of hearing Rosie telling us how gay she is and how her gay life is!! Enough already!! If you have been living under a rock for some time well I guess it's news to you!
To me JMO it seems like she is making it first class news!!
I don't hear of other gay people telling all the time on TV about their lives!!

Needless to say, I don't watch The View anymore.......It should be called "Rosies View"!!

I didn't see the show, I don't watch it, but I did see the video clip. My perspective was he was waiting... and waiting...and waiting to talk and couldn't get a word in edgewise. She doesn't even take a breath! She was totally monopolizing the conversation. Why have a co-host if you're not going to let them talk? He told her "let me know when it's my turn to ask a question" - of the guests- and she totally ignored him and kept blabbing 90 miles a minute. That's why he playfully covered her mouth, so he could ask them a question, good for him, that's what I felt like doing too! She was the rude one if you ask me and then makes a BIG deal out of it, what a diva in her own mind. Personally I can't stand her and I don't think Clay Aiken can either. That's probably why he was coming off as "rude". Good for him for standing up for himself! There's no reason to be treated like your not even there when your an invited "co-host" then let him co-host - not sit there like a silent dummy while you hog the limelight like she does every day. I find her overbearing and annoying!
