Oprah brought that out of him and shes not going.....
BUT....
On the NBC show they showed Brook Sheilds going to the wedding.....refresh my memory......Didn't he make those remarks about her taking "drugs" after her daughter was born and how wrong she was......

Rumors: Oprah had distanced herself after that couch triade and that Tom may be still stinging from that. (Another speculation is this it Tom's wedding and those larger than he is is not premitted to distract from his wedding)


What isnt' a rumor.... It's Katie and Brookes friendship... not Tom's. After Suri was born, Kate and Brooke got together (they both delivered on the same day at the same hospital) Tom did apologize for hurting Brooke's feelings (not making the comment) but Brooke said she forgives him and has let it go.

A rumor about why Kate and Brooke are friends is that Kate had a small bout of post partem depression and reached out to Brooke.

As much as I dislike Tom the man, I do admire his acting. I loved War of the Worlds even though I didn't want to because I dislike him so much.

I think he is either mentally ill and won't get help or just a self centered jerk. I pity that poor girl. THe only good thing is that even if they split up, she will be well off financially for life.

I heard that it was a Scientologist ceremony. I don't know what that means. I did hear Regis say that he was invited and he did go and attend the wedding. If I were Oprah, I think I would have been relieved to not have to put on a fake smile and congratulation the couple. Everybody who says they believe Tom and Katie are just fine together and they are happy about it are just lying anyway. Everybody I know thinks he is bad news.... everybody except for Katie that is.....poor girl.

Which family member does that baby look like? She doesn't look like either one of the parents.

Word is that there was a very dramatic kiss after the couple was pronounced husband and wife. Made me think of that big kiss on the award show between Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley right after they were married....remember that? Uhhhhhhh.

EWWWWW! That Lisa and Michael kiss.. that was extremely hokie... Never could understand that union.

I happened to be looking at one of the magazines at the checkout on Friday... I think it was an 'US' magazine. Of course they were featured and I skimmed the article while waiting to check out..

It mentioned that it was going to be a Scientology wedding... but that Katie wanted something to appease her parents a bit.. so that is why they had an opera tenor.. (can't recall which one..) sing the traditional Ave Maria... to add a catholic touch 'for them'...

It also said that her gift to Tom would be to have another child pretty quickly...

I did see a pict of the baby and I thought she favored him. Both of them having dark eyes and hair... it's hard to tell. I've seen kids look like one initially and then develop stronger features of the other parent later on.

All 3 of my kids look different and none look like one or the other of us... We used the same 'recipe'! One daughter might favor me a bit more...Two have their dad's feet! LOL!
