I saw Madonna on Oprah being interviewed about the adoption. I thought she did a great job of explaining everything. Whatever the press or whoever it was tried to imply with their stories slamming her is outrageous. It really angers me that people would tear someone down for trying to do a great thing such as saving someone's life. I don't get it. Why was there no criticism when Angelina Jolie adopted a child from Cambodia and Africa?
I think Madonna has set the record set and shown all those who would bad mouth her about this how absurd they really are.
The last couple of years I have not been a Madonna fan. I lost interest in her music and frankly thought she was too much of a diva for my test...always acting better than others and putting on that fake British accent, but, I have decided to let that go and give her another chance. This adoption matter has changed my opinion of her for the better. Besides, it doesn't matter what I think. If she is a good parent for a child who is homeless, what else matters?
I also saw the interview with Madonna on Oprah. I agree that she did a great job explaining everything. Her new son is one lucky little boy.
Madonna seems to love children...
If I remember correctly... I believe she wrote a children's book.
My daughter went to a Madonna concert this year... no air conditioning... something about it's not good for her voice. The concert was during the summer, and was more than a little uncomfortable. This is the first time I heard of a singer enforcing such a rule. Oh well.
