Starting Over Talk - Peer Coaching Support Site

I think it's going to be about women who were really bad, and need to start over to a good life. Ha ving been a "bad girl" I'm really interested in how the "coaches" are going to approach the women. I'm a recovering addict, alkie with 22 years of clean/sober living under my belt. If what I am thinking they are going to do, it would be great to give some women who have no $$$$ like most of the women did (Except Rain & Cassie Bobblehead) on SO. If anyone needs a hand up, it's someone who kicked them selves off the curb and needs to get back up so they can lead a decent life.

I think just the title "Bad Girls" tells me this show will not be close to the quality of SO. Can you imagine the life coaches from SO calling their show some propogandistic title like that? I would not get your hopes up.

I did also want to point out originally B/M had said there were going to be 6 women in the house..in L.A. no less... Maybe they changed the number to 7 so that it won't be quite a copycat wannbe.. of SO.

I seriously think B/M used this to be a spin off or new version of the old show...and created it to reach the market already over saturated with other drama based reality shows..

SO was in a class by itself. Wasn't perfect..But it had a better point and the audience could take something away from the lessons.. the women were getting.

I understand about helping women who've had problems

We did Bad Things, We are NOT Bad GIRLS....

I dont know, to me it seems as if your called something
Long enough, you start to believe it and
Who can Get to be a 'GOOD' GIRL IF
you've been labeled 'BAD' your whole life..

Anyway that's what I have a Problem with,

now STARTING OVER gave ALL of us a chance,
GOOD OR BAD to Start Over
and NOT be Labeled to get that Help...

Labeling is my problem and the name &quot;BAD GIRLS&quot;
makes it seem that if you get Lucky enough to be
helped on that show, You're a BAD PERSON aka &quot;BAD GIRL&quot;

Oxygen has a whole theme built around women being bad girls...

If you look at the list of shows they have... they seem to concentrate on the outrageous or controversial..with much of it's original programming.

I haven't heard that these women will have anything resembling life coaches or counseling.. More likely than not... the producers are banking on the drama...

They aren't out to help anyone but their bank accounts!
