Bob Barker is retiring next June...

Looks like they want to continue the show! They've been looking for a replacement!

My goodness!! I heard that yesterday and I just can't believe it! Hubby and I always thought he'd be on the show until he died! He's outlived 2 of his announcers.

He's the only host we've known for the show, although I've seen a couple of the very first shows on GameShow Network a few years ago. They were in black and white and Bill somebody hosted I think. The guy that was also on What's My Line? YUP.......I LOVE all those old, old game shows...........they were so cool!!!!

Kelly Ripper has nominated Regis to fill Bob's shoes. She says they can move the show to New York and he can do it plus his own show. I personally think they should just retire the show. Besides, Regis will be as old as Bob before too long. I think Regis is 70 something, although, he does look darn good for his age.

Did you see him dressed up like Simon Cowell for Halloween? What a body on that guy. Wow. He is really built. I don't know what he is doing but his body is hot. I'm not kidding.

Regis is 75 years old. R.I.P. Bob Barker...how many times does an old man have to be sued for sexual harrassment? I'm glad he's retiring...should have happened years ago.

The show just won't be the same with out Bob Barker. I can't imagine anybody replacing him.

I remember him when he was on Truth or Consequences back in the 60's!

I think I read in the net piece or heard on the interview... that Bob has always worked with a trainer.. He used to train with Chuck Norris before Chuck Norris got popular..

Today on the radio.. they were talking about it.. and someone asked him what he was going to do when he retired.. (he'll be 83 in Dec.) and he told them he was going to take up bodybuilding and run for Governor of Calif! LOL!

Yes, I think it might be time to retire the show.. But it is probably most popular with the older population.. Game shows used to be quite popular some years ago... and were on primarily in the mornings... and early afternoon.
