Lucky me... my husband and I will be going to the Barbara Streisand Concert Monday night.

My sister saw the show Saturday night... her son surprised her and my brother-in-law with tickets. My nephew was able to get complimentary tickets for us through a business connection.

I've always been a fan, and am really looking forward to seeing the show.

I heard Rosie talk about the show on the view... has anyone had a chance to see the show?

Oh mazzy that sounds awesome!!! I saw Rosie rave about her, and the only way I really know and love Barbra Striesand is because of Hello Dolly!!!! She was superb and I love her voice!!!

Go girl!!! Mazzy that is great news. How lucky are you!! ENJOY. I have never heard anything but wonderful comments about her shows. She is a perfectionist from what I hear, so it should be fantastic.

I also hear those tickets are VERY pricey. I have attended many concerts. I think I have seen almost every major performer that has toured in America, but, not Barbara. Tell us all about it.

Great show!

We saw the show at the Bank Atlantic Center in South Florida... tickets ranged from $100 to $750.

Barbara looked beautiful... (she's 64 years old)... her music was wonderful... the acoustics were great. She wore three great outfits... great shoes too LOL

A lot of her songs were from Funny Girl... I was sorry she didn't sing Sadie, Sadie Married Lady and Papa Do You Hear Me from Yentel.

Il Divo also appeared with Barbara... my husband and I thought they were great, but they did not seem to get good reviews.

Barbara did a political comedy skit with Steve Bridges... George Bush impersonator... did not get good reviews, but my husband and I enjoyed it. I like political humor, but seems several people were offended. At one point two men walked out...

My husband and I really enjoyed the concert... because the acoustics were so good... we left without the usual concert headache. LOL

The performance was filmed for TV... so you all will get a chance to see it.

I'm glad you had such a great time!! I loved Funny Girl....it was my aunt's favorite, so we watched it as kids!

Well.................the two that walked out, while certainly entitled to their viewpoints and opinions, must lead such a hard life always being offended and unable to laugh!!! Yes, sometimes things are WAAAY inappropriate.....like the whole Bill Maher dressing as Steve Irwin with the stingray in him.....that's disgusting. But political and self humor?? Come on.....laughter is a very healing and equalizing thing!!

I can't wait until it comes on......can you give us an idea of when it will be on t.v.? Or is it just being planned and no details yet?
