Yahoo..has and article up today... about the show..and apparently dubbed "Is Mr T qualified to give advice"?
I checked it out briefly and just seemed to be more of a promotion for the show..
One of the upcoming episodes looks like it might be about why he gave up his signature gold chains and stuff. I think that was fairly recent after working with the Katrina victims.. Maybe he had an epiphany about the issue as related to materialism.

Now that I look at his sites briefly, and recognize the network he's airing from...It's clear that his target audience may be younger... I can see where he might have some appeal there. Or is tvland more targeted to baby boomers?
I have just been surprised with the suddenness of hearing about Mr. T and an advice type show... As much as they say he'll be addressing people's problems... I don't see that he'll in any way be competing with Oprah and Dr. Phil.. But who knows.. stranger things have happened!
One other interesting link... I happened to find a link someone wrote about a video geared to kids that he did. This show may be a spinoff...
I think Mr. T. is more of a motivational speaker... or is trying to be.
