I don't have a problem with the term karma. I have an idea of the common understanding of it I think. What I do wonder about is when do we get our karma? Why do some murderers stay free and live a carefree life and honest hard working people who treat others with love and compassion get terminal illnesses or live in poverty? I have heard of a book entitled "When Bad THings happen to Good People." I have never read it though.

I may just do a little research on the matter. I have heard that we as humans need a philosophy that soothes our minds and creates a mental attitude that allows society to live within certain bounds to ensure out very survival. If we do good, we get good, so to speak.
It is an interesting topic.
