When people used to do things to intentionally hurt me. I used to want to some how get back at them. I have come to learn that revenge does absolutely nothing to make my pain go away or make what the person did to me go away. I have come to realize revenge usually hurt me in the long run any way.

I have learned that what comes around goes around. You get what you put out there. It's not that I wish for bad things to happen to people who intentionally hurt me but the negative energy they put out to hurt me usually come back to them.<br><br>Post edited by: Tara, at: 2006/09/14 02:23

Yep..........I think that's why there are so many different beliefs and phrases to cover that.........like &quot;reap what you sow&quot;, etc. I DO totally believe that what you put out comes back to you. I don't necessarily believe in only one way that can happen...........I think there are lots of ways for that to come to pass.

But, yes............I also think there are some people in this world who aren't getting their comeuppance yet!!!! But, I'm also trying to be a lot more patient in my mind and letting it go. Trying, that is!!! Some days are better than others!!!!

I do believe in Karma and if you hurt people you will get hurt back in some way.

I've discovered that negative emotions/thoughts are very harmful, and really try to let go of them. Sometimes it's easier said than done. LOL

No, I believe in God and the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The concept is Biblical, in that the Lord will reward and punish.
