MY, MY, MY, if it gets any better on The View I don't know if I can contain myself. Did any of you see the show yesterday??? Please say you did. I simply must converse with someone else who saw it. If you didn't see it, this is what happened:


Guest-host is Lisa Loeb, she used to have some pop hits, then recently a realty show about her finding a boyfriend, I think it was called Number 1 Single or something.

Everything is going fine until Barbara brings up the hot topic of the pill that you may be able to purchase, if you are 18 at your pharmacy that if you take it within 48 hours, will prevent conception or implanting to the uterine wall if the fertilization had already occured.

Elisabeth expresses her belief that life begins at conception so this pill is wrong. Lisa says that she disagrees and explains why, and so does Joy. The two of them were under control while listening to the other's viewpoints. Then Barbara says, what if the girl has been raped or the victim of incest and is afraid to go to the authorities? Should people like that be prohibited from that pill. Then Elisabeth goes ballistic. She verbally attacks Joy about some other potilitcal issue not even related to the issue, like Joy was personally insulting her. Then Barbara, calls Elisabeth down. She says "Calm down Elisabeth, you have to listen to other opinions." She said to Elisabeth that she was going off like a crazy person and that people must act civilized in their discussions. Everything gets very quiet and serious. Barbara looks ticked!

Elisabeth then said something like she was listening to what everyone had to say, but she seemed ticked off and before they went to commercial break, tore up a piece of paper that was in her hand and threw it on the table. Barbara appears out done by all of this and Joy and poor Lisa Loeb are dumb founded.

When they return from commercial break, Elisabeth is sitting beside Barbara on the couch with her head on Barbara's shoulder pouting with her lower lip out. She's acting all sorry and now kissing Barbara's butt. They each say something about caring for each for other and then Elisabeth throws her legs across Barbara's lap like a little girl!

I knew it. THat girl has lost it. She will either leave on her on or be fired. This must be her last week on that show and she is letting it rip. I bet Barbara wonders what she did to deserve what she has gotten this season on that show.

It says you will see the entire drama but you don't. It cuts in too late and stops before Barbara steps in, at least that's all I could get it to play.

wow i have not seen this show since elisabeth came on...i should definitely start apparently! that must have been something to see. i really liked her on survivor - obviously didn't get the whole picture!!

SCW, Elisabeth is like a different person from the one she was on Survivor. I also liked her on that show. I think something is going on with her mentally or physically to cause such extremes in her conduct. She is so jealous and insecure about almost every aspect of life...it's odd. It's her way or the highway. Seriously....She is wound up tigher than a tick.

Tomorrow is the last live show until Rosie comes aboard in September. They will be in repeats I'm sure, so, if you haven't been watching, you can get a flavor of what I'm describing by watching them.

I am so tired of talk show repeats. Jeapardy is even showing repeats!! I just want something new and fresh......The View has provided live shows longer than most of their counterparts this summer.

Does anyone know of any live daytime shows that are still airing?

Wow! Debby, Yes, I did see "That" View. Elizabeth gets pretty out of control on many topics.....pretty immature, IMO. The other day she went off about people living together without marriage and now she goes off completely regarding The Morning After Pill.

Can you imagine how interesting and heated things will get once Rosie starts????

Did anyone catch the show when Deborah Roberts, newscaster and wife of Al Rocker was on? I really liked her the best of all the guest host's so far, Debra is intelligent, interesting with a great sense of humor. If they can't get Gayle King, I think that Debra would be another great choice!
