Starting Over Talk - Peer Coaching Support Site

Hello everyone, please remember me and my family when you pray. My uncle was in the hospital and they had to take him off life suprt because he was to far gone and coulden't do anything to save him. He was still younge, maybe in his 40's-50's don't know for sure. He was in a coma and went peacefully, and not long before he as put in the ccu part of the hospital, he told my aunt that while he was going if everyone around him was singing the song "I'm a winner either way". So we did just that as we watched him go slowly or so it seemed to take foreer anyways. We also sang other songs, and we had just finished singing the song "Amazing Grace" when the nurse said ok he's gone now. It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life, so please just remember me and my family hen youpray and pray for us to have the peace we all need so dearly. Especially my dad, it hit him so hard that he wasn't only crying(which I've never seen him do), but he was also shaking and he started falling to the floor until my step-mom caught him. I don't know exactly how things will go just yet, but two good things did come from this. He went peacefully, and my mom did something she's never done before. It sounds bad that it took this happening to get her to do it, but for the first time ever she held me, put her arms around me, cried with me and told me she loves me and ment all of it. So, PRAISE GOD! I hate that it took that for it to happen, but God still answerd my prayer for her to do that for me. Take care and God Bless each and everyone one of you.

Thanks to everyone for everything, the death of a loved one or even just a friend is never easy. I also hope that our family will continue to bond and grow together as one. I can't say thanks enough.
