Starting Over Talk

Well, I checked out Rachael again today because Oprah was on. I still didn't like it. Rachel is too hyper and shouts at the audience. She made me nervous.

She had an advice portion on shoes which IMO was laughable.

Oprah cannot be thinking that the show is going well. They need new writers and Rachael needs to cut out the coffee and run about 5 miles before she tapes the show.

I thought Rachael was a little better today... she did not seem as nervous, but... I agree still too hyper. I think hyper is simply part of who Rachael is... LOL

It was nice seeing Oprah... she sure has come a long way from when she started... always liked her, but more so today... she has worked hard... is good at what she does, and has earned the respect that she enjoys today. She seemed goofy in the kitchen... wonder if she put it on a bit much... for someone who obviously likes food she really seemed lost in the kitchen. LOL

I wish Rachael luck with her show, but I don't think she will make it in this particular set up. She is entertaining as a guest... she did well on the Food Network, but this setting may not be her thing.

Yahoo has a poll about the show.. and getting feedback from viewers. I was out most of the day and surprised to see the item on the yahoo front page.

You aren't missing much if you don't see it. As Mazzy mentioned there seems to be similar feelings. Although the die hard Rachel fans tend to think it was great!

I haven't really watched it since the first day. I surfed through it this morning..and saw her chatting at the kitchen table to the audience. Somehow it just seemed idiotic to me.. I know she is probably trying to create that family atmosphere and the familiar kitchen table chat sessions most families enjoyed with friends or family members..

I didn't even make it through a full segment this morning. It just isn't holding my interest.
