However, nothing has worked with Mr. Murray. People usually respond to a certified letter. Until I hear something different, I'll have to rely on Mr. Goldshein's information.

I think I will follow up the phone call with a letter to thank him and confirm the information he gave me. It can't hurt.

Any other ideas are welcome. We are fortunate to have this board so we can exhange ideas. Thanks Tara.

Debby, thanks for passing on the info you received from the lawyer - saying that SO will only continue if NBC picks it up again! Of course we should all continue to call the 818-777-0244 number first. However, I was able to get another number to call from NBC. I called Anna Marie (V.P. - daytime programming? at NBC) and got her voice mail. On her voice mail message, she stated that if the caller was calling about Starting Over, they should call 818-840-3770. I called the number and received a voice mail box where I was able to leave an "urgent" message. Maybe we should all leave messages at that number, IN ADDITION TO calling the MAIN NUMBER 818-777-0244.

Also, now that it looks like we should be concentrating on NBC, I'm concerned that the online petition with the approx. 7,000 signatures is going to the production company and not NBC! (Unless I'm mistaken and the online petition is also being sent to NBC??) If NBC isn't receiving that petition - they should be! Does anyone know if they are getting it, and if not, how we can get it to NBC?? Thanks! Heather

Debby..................way to go!!!! You got some great info, and I guess the bottom line is that we really won't know until next season for sure, eh????

I guess the phone calls and letters to NBC is the best way to go per your conversation with the attorney you spoke with. If the production really isn't going to sell (or attempt to sell) the program to another network, then appealing to NBC is really the only avenue open at this point.

The only other suggestion is to flood Oprah, Lifetime, etc, with letters SUGGESTING picking up Starting Over and then recommending their production to contact NBC???????

Well..............I guess we'll just keep hope alive until it isn't!!!!
