Hi y'all!!!

I know, I know, I originally started off saying I was reading the Poisonwood Bible..........but I had a really hard time getting into it and don't know that I'm ready to deal with similar religious hypocrisy that I grew up on. Maybe it'll make a good winter read while the kids are working on their schooling!!

ANYway...........

I picked up a mystery by the author Nevada Barr. I really enjoyed it and now am starting at the beginning. In a nutshell, she's a National Parks Ranger with Law Enforcement experience and solves murders and other crimes that happen in the National Parks. I'm only on my second book, and some of the murder descriptions are quite gory and there is some strong language..............but I am enthralled with the detective work and storylines about the National Parks.

Anyone else read any of these?????

Keep pushin on, it gets REALLY good, especially when ya see all that hypocrisy blown to bits! That's what kept me from reading it all a couple of times, but I bit the bullet, and loved it, you will too, if this is bothering ya now.
