Starting Over Talk - Peer Coaching Support Site

I am new to SOT and lost my cable yesterday when Jessica graduated. I realize they are playing reruns and the show is in hiatis - does anyone have this on tape? Or, even moreso, does anyone have the entire season 3 on tape? I don't want this show to die - I have come to find that is it helping me heal my life as many of you do. Any info would be very much appreciated!

I'm glad that someone else who is seeing this for the first time is on the board! I don't have tapes, but reading through some of the old postings and checking out the blog site (don't have the URL, but it was posted somewhere, maybe the "search forum" or someone else reading this can help.

Back to Jessica - I'll admit that she annoyed me at first. Yes, what happened to her family was beyond tragic and never should have happened. However, she just seemed to have a "nobody has suffered the way I have" attitude and, in spite of her claims that she wanted privacy she had been rather public about things. That hit me as a bit hypocritical. As the season went on, though, I became more and more impressed with her. It seems that she gained a great deal of maturity in the SO household. She certainly was ready to graduate.

oops, sorry my first paragraph didn't make much sense! I should have been more careful and proof read it before posting.

Currently the show is in December...
Today's episode originally aired Dec. 16th. Kim's story was aired on Dec. 19th... Which is the next show.

Only a couple more shows were aired before the show /station went on a break for the holidays. The episodes pick back up in January...after several reruns from the start of the season that were shown over the holidays. Hopefully the reruns this time won't have that huge break. And Allison's graduation will be very soon... and yet another hg (Lisa 2) will arrive!

Anyway, The blog is worth a bookmark for newbies and oldies alike.. It's a good refresher... and also it might help fill in the blanks to the SO newbies.

You also might check this site's recaps once you are able to match up a rerun with the original airdate at the blog site. This site's recaps have alot more detail. At one point the recaps became a bit sporadic. I always appreciated all the effort that went into writing them.

Never say never. I've waited a long time, but, guess who is now releasing old shows on DVD.... Donny Osmond!!! He's releasing select episodes of The Donny & Marie Show from the 1970's. I know they will bring back some wonderful memories.

Of course, I hope we don't have to wait 30 years for DVDs of SO.
I don't see why it would cost that much to offer, especially if they charged alot for them. BM's decision making skills are questional, IMO.
