Starting Over Talk

I just got done going through several of the blogs that are listed in the section under main menu.

Kimmie's has a somber blog entry but mentions that she IS a life coach now. Her picture is rather comical.. It was somber because a brother in law committed suicide last month. She talks about how that can affect a whole family.

Meg's blog seems to be the most regularly updated.. Back in April she mentions that she was planning a trip to the Grand Canyon to go out on that Skywalk! Good for her! She sounds like she is actively trying to overcome her fears! And if you can remember a fear of "height's" was one of them! I don't consider myself phobic but I wouldn't go out on that thing.. I just get the willies! All right..maybe I'm a little phobic!

Meg also seems like she is selling Shaklee products now..

Sommer's blog did mention that her relationship with the special young man is over.. I think his name was Adam.. I hope another young man comes along for her! I was just thinking of her last night! I've been watching TLC's 'Big Medicine' and part of the show was talking about a young woman who had successfully gone through bypass but still had a distorted perception of herself. They spoke about this being a problem with alot of people and I recalled that this was also Sommer's issue when she came into SO.

Thanks for reminding me about those _link_s. I think I will check them out and see what those ladies are up to lately.

I always liked Kim. I know she had more than her fair share of criticism on this board, but I really liked her.

Sommer, I didn't like her until she came back the second time to the house. I saw a big chance to her.

Just to be sure, the blog I mentioned was about season 2 Kim..aka Kimmie..

After I heard her nonchalantly say to her housemates "fake it till you make it".. in regard to an exercise.. always made me question her sincerity.

I'm glad she was able to resolve her conflict with her sister though. She came across as a bit too materialistic....

I remember the "fake it until you make it" quote, also. I think she did end up doing a lot of changing and growing. She really needed to, though. Most of the SOH are nice enough to accept regular TV watchers like us as their myspace friends. Kinda cool. Several of them are my friend.
