When I was a kid I ate lettuce and mayo sandwiches. My younger brother liked mustard and ketchup sandwiches. Uh..... We also put Kool-aid in ice trays and made popcicles.

My grandmother took left over mashed potatoes and made potatoe cakes by adding flower and fying them in a pan. SHe also used applesauce and made apple cakes the same way.

This involves a bit of cooking but if ya make a large enough portion it's yummy heated up, and cheeeep

pp's version of Shepherd's Pie'..

Layer....ground beef, mashed potatoes, then broccoli, top with cheeeeze and bread crumbs, or you can put in any other goodies ya like. I make this up in the winter months.

Have a GREAT 'Summer Slaw' recipe, have to dig it out, soon, will post it then...lots of initial work, (my Kitchen Aid mixer with all of the add-ons makes it a lot lighter), but it lasts the week or more and really is HEALTHY!!

A cheepo always on hand, Kraft mac and cheeeeze, add a bit of tabasco and lemon zest! Yummy!
And whenever I make pancakes, (with Bisquick), I make up a huge pitcher of them, add a pinch of sugar to the mix, then just add a bit of milk, for every day you use it.
