Wow! You guys are brutal! She gets up early (before everyone else) flys to Houston, about a 3 hour flight. Goes to the Arena where I can only imagine what she experiences. I know I was shocked and amazed by what I was reading in the papers and seeing in the news, I'm sure it was on a much larger scale in person. She spends her day and night volunteering whatever services she could. It doesn't matter what she was wearing. She is still recovering from cancer, I'm sure she was exhausted. We weren't there, we don't know what she went through. The hotel was a little much, but do you think she could have found a cheaper motel? I doubt it, the city was booked. Giver her a break.

The show probably made the arrangements for the hotel anyway. Iyanla was most likely in the same hotel!

If she was so moved by her experience in Houston...why didn't she pull out a cot and crash with all those camping out in the arena. Why? Because she is self absorbed and totally fake, and in all actuality, she couldn't care less. She's all about 'being in the spotlight'...all of the time. She doesn't fool me one bit...never did.

I don't think the arena was set up for housing to accomodate people who actually had a place to stay. Besides, even if Allison had volunteered to work at the Arena all night, she would then be accused of just trying to show off again.

Allison didn't pick and choose her assignments. When Iyanla said pack, we're leaving for Houston, she didn't have a choice. What was she supposed to have done, worn a mask to disguise herself?
She went to the places the Show told her to go.

Exactly! the show planned the trip...and everything else we see Allison doing! At the time of the disaster the hotels were fully booked with volunteers. My niece worked in one in Gulfport...same thing there.
The volunteers worked in shifts, and had to make their own living arrrangements. The cots were not provided for THEM!!

I felt for Allison today, not being able to share her experiences in
Houston with all her housemates due to all the petty squabbling going on .Quite a contrast, I'm sure!! TJ's catty "sharing" was totally uncalled for!
But, she had a really good session with Dr.Stan today. so it all evens out...I guess.

It's impossible to know what wound up the cutting room floor. But from what was shown, Allison did not get much of a chance to share what she had experienced. I do think that she was a bit pouty about it though; very similar to the behavior she exhibited on the "my birthday was ruined" show.
