You got me! I wondered if they were emulating Stomp? (was that the name of the broadway show or group?)

I imagine you can only do so much with that medium... How many dance routines can you do with stilts?

And yes, I think they'd do better with something like Ringling Brothers or as part of a variety act type show.

I thought that woman that fell, left the stage for a bit.. and then came back in. I'm glad it didn't appear she hurt herself. I'm sure they all fall once in awhile...You just don't want to do it on national tv! I'm sure she felt awful! When that guy was swinging around in the air using some sort of trapeze equipment.. I was afraid he was going to clobber someone in the head with a stilt!

How did you like the illusionist?

The woman that nearly plunged to her death (sorry but I do have to laugh about it.. thought it was funny) didn’t leave the stage she was picked up and brought back up by one of the other male performers.

I went searching for the show as soon as I seen your post KPW so I pretty much watched the ending of it. I don't think I'll be watching it next time, doesn't seem to interest me.

That was the first time I'd seen it.. I think I didn't tune in until the bottom of the rapping granny.. and she'd already performed. So I saw maybe the last hour. The only other bit I'd seen was the link to the clip of the young girl Serena mentioned initially when she sang the other week. She was very good although that clip probably didn't do her justice.

Wished I'd seen Rapping Granny.. She looked like a sweet lady! The judges seemed like they were all impressed...

Anybody know where I can find a clip of her?

Nevermind, I'll do a search! I'll bet I can find it! If I do... I'll post it here!

Here is Rapping Granny from her initial debut. Do they call it round 1?

She must have done even better this time!

What a hoot!

Reminds me of Minnie Pearl!
