I think that Star forgot for a moment the protocol involved in an employer, employee relationship.
Her announcement threw the whole show off and, even though it contained praise for her co-anchors, the timing was worse than inappropriate. Yes, in the business world that is a firing offense.

I thought she was already fired when she made her announcment two days early. I think Barbara is a big enough girl to handle a situation like that. Everything went smoothly and I didn't see anything thrown off, except for ABC. Control is a very touchy thing. Star didn't like the fake, "Star has chosen to move on," scene that was certain to take place on Thursday, so she told the truth on Tuesday. If I tried to convince my employee to lie about something and then it came back to bite me in the butt, I don't think I would have the right to call them disloyal.
I realize that Elisabeth was hired to voice the conservative viewpoint, but, she has lost all perspective on reality. I think she and Rosie may actually agree on many issues. Rosie is very conservative with child rearing matters. I have been quite surprised of how conservative. I also remember her talking on her show about how she hates nudity. She is practically phobic about beeing nude. She is not one to discuss sex issues, at least she didn't on her show and I've never read or seen her do it in an interview. She says to keep that private. Of course gay marriage will be certainly be a hot topic between them.
I do think Elizabeth's rantings are due to inmaturity. She needs a mentor.
I do wonder how Joy and Rosie will work it out. I can't imagine the two of them staying on that panel for long. I do think the rumor of Gayle King taking Star's place is great. I like Gayle, but, would she be able to leave Oprah and move to New York?
