Hi everyone, Maybe someone can help me. I heard a comerical the other day and I believe it was Allisons voice doing the comentary about a shaver for us girls. Did anyone else hear it and do you think it was her? I tried to find a site to email her but again was out of luck. Thanks in advance. Nannyvee

Hi Nannyvee, I haven't heard it but others at this site have said the same thing.

I like Allison very much. She is actually the reason I started watching the show. Moved here mid summer last year and caught the tail end of SO2 (?) and was happy to see it begin a new fall season and even happier to see Allison again in the house. I'll admit she seemed different her second time around but holy sh#*, she'd been through the ringer!!! And I did not like the other hg's sniping about her behind her back - showed me THEY'RE the ones not to be trusted. I've never understood people who don't like NICE people - like it's a disease to be avoided or something. I wish the very best for her.

Yes, isn't it strange how those who are nice to others seem to catch the most flack? I don't get it!!
They all talk about the other...I see it as fairly normal...let's face it, they don't really know each other, and a lot of it is due to not understanding where the other is coming from. The other HGs can sympathize...to a point....but Allison's physical trauma, added to that of her past, is a heavy load to carry. I would never presume to know the depth of her sorrow, but don't think that the
other Hgs could fully appreciate that which they hadn't experienced themselves. Of course, that's true for all of us. I have no idea how I would react if I were in her shoes...but I can see that it would be a long and painful struggle. So,I too, wish Allison the very best.

RE: the razor commercial... I don't think that it is her.. She hasn't listed or mentioned aspirations to do commercials or acting. The recent update (from March..) seemed to suggest that she is still back in NC working and also trying to pursue spiritual training (I think Iyanla also mentioned that in her chat in early May, or was it April..at WCW)..

I think it is just a coincidence. I am sure we would have heard if she'd been doing something commercially before now. I didn't think her voice was that distinctive.

Yes, it's the Venus shaver commercial. It does sound exactly like her. I've googled for "voice over" sites, but have not found confirmation that it is Allison.

I would never expect non-family people to "make my day special".
What a manipulative crock. Even telling Iyanla that she was mad that her birthday was ruined. I laughed when Iyanla told her to tell it to her housemates.
Just another demonstration of how childish Allison is.
