Locking threads doesn't stifle personal growth. In order to grow people need to understand that life has boundaries. Threads are usually locked because they get heated or way off topic. People are more than welcome to begin new threads too.
Amen to boundaries, Tara! Seems to me that's what the SOH was all about....healthy boundaries! As to starting new threads, that's what I did when I could not find one that I was inclined to join...and still do.
Yes, the boards are quiet...some members may not be watching the reruns. As I have stated on several occasions, I am enjoying the shows I missed and getting quite a lot out of a "second look.":)
Point taken. New threads can be started, and maybe people aren't watching the reruns.
The first time the shows were aired, I'd make dinner, so I was only half-way paying attention. Then when Jill came back and dealt with her father issue, I became hooked. I'd stop everything for the show. I was wishing at the time I had paid more attention from the beginning, so it really was answered prayer that they re-ran the show again.
