TV Guide Article 2 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
I was thumbing through this week's TV Guide and I came across an article titled "Guilty Pleasures" and it's all about the reality shows that are so addicting you just have to watch. The last one they mention is starting over, which caught me by surprise. I just wonder...does this mean that there's hope for starting over???? just wondering outloud.

Well, that's certainly interesting, isn't it? Don't buy TV guide...what did they say about it? It does seem odd that they would mention a show that supposedly had its finale a month ago.

I do not get he TV Guide so I did not read the article but just from what you said, I do not find it odd they mentioned Starting Over. It is a reality show that people watch(ed) and become addicted to. That was what the article was about, right? Just another perspective.

The article listed the reality shows that TV Guide loves and dubbed them as guilty pleasures. Some of the shows mentioned are currently in production or have been renewed for next season (like so you think you can dance, extreme makeover home edition, and suppernanny just to name a few). The question remains why when there's so much reality out there to choose from would you choose to turn people on to a show that is no longer in production.

Well, that's why I said I found it "odd" in my previous post! Just
wondering if they know something that we don't know!

Maybe the writer of that article wrote it a month or 2 ago and it is just now being slated to be published... OR... they never rec'd formal word that the show was cancelled. Everyone including us, has been left for the most part to assume..

Cancellation info never came out like they normally do for show series.

I think B/M had it planned all along... not to return..I think all of their other shows are a bunch of junk.. SO was too different from their usual fare.

They should have sold rights to the show or at least tried to.
