The Sudanese government and it's murderous Jamjaweed are massacring non Arab Africans TODAY, within their country. This is much like what happenend in Bosnia and Rwanda; thousands are dying horrible, horrible deaths(example
mall children having their faces beaten in by rifle butts). The world talks, the world waits, the world argues...and takes too long to act.....The United States is currently providing humanitarian assistance and President Bush DOES support appropriate sanctions. WE need to do our part too....One beginning step is the passage of the Darfur Accountability Act..The legislation calls for several desperately needed measures--including the ability of the African Union to deal with the genocide and help stop it.....Please, no matter what else you do this week, call or e-mail your congressperson and senators and tell them you support them in doing all they can to stop the genocide of the Sudanese Africans...This is how democracy works;Congress is a reactive body, and the single most powerful tool for stopping this madness would be a massive phone call/e-mail campaign to our Congressional representatives.....Edmond Burke once said "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing"......Please, don't do nothing.....Thanks for listening......,.............(go to
