I'm glad that lightbulb came on for my husband. He finally realized, after years of giving his son "handouts," that he weas only enablng him. To amount to absolutely nothing. So, he changed his phone number. And, told his son he'd had the phone disconnected.

You don't how much I wish I could get my mother to take that kind of a stand with my youngest brother!! He is a grown man with his own family but his antics are that of a child. He refuses to attend a support group for his drug addiction and squanders his money on drugs. I have discussed the matter with my mom and she realizes what she is doing, but she says she can't help it. You would think he is 14 years old.
