Yeah, of course it's hot here. All year long. Better than the snow though, that's for sure. Where exactly is Merritt Island? I'm on the west coast of Florida (Sarasota) - Old folks capital of the world!

I'm from Gainesville Fl. Got Family in Ocala, Merritt Island, Dunnellon, and Bradenton. I'm jealous! I would love to live in Bradenton..its so gorgeous there. But I love Gainesville too. But I think we will move to Orlando eventually...we spend all of our free time at Disneyworld.

Hi,
Still finding my way around. We live east of 75 in Greyhawk Landing, which is a bit far from everything. I am in my car a lot! Can't wait for the weather to cool off and hopefully get to the beach, if the Red Tide subsides. Where in Sarasota are you - how does it compare to Bradenton?
