Hi Dianne, nice to meet you. I live south of the city limits of Sarasota. I like Sarasota but it is very, very expensive here and getting worse. I know it's getting that way everywhere including Bradenton. I don't know alot about Bradenton I think it's streets are very confusing because every street is a number and it's an Avenue as well as a Drive, or circle etc. At least in Sarasota they are named streets and I can find them easier.
I have lived here since 1997 and I love it. I moved from NC. It was a big turning point in my life (a scary one for a single mother of two).
What about you? What brings you to FL?

Hi to all my fellow Floridians. I live in central Florida, Lakeland to be exact. Its nice to see that there are others from Florida here too.

Hi flmedgirl I like your pic, I have a few friends in Sarasota (well new people I met.. lol) havent been there yet we are suppose to visit there soon, I am in Florida and its ok so far. Shes a office manager also, works for tech data there.. small world. Glad you had a pic or I would have been questioning you more..lol

Sweetpeach, glad you like Florida. I use to really, really love it but it's getting so expensive to live here it's very sad. I've lived her since '97 and love it. I do, however, wish we would either get cost of living raises or the prices would go down

I just moved to Deland in March of this year! Love it here! Very traditional and the homes look like up North. Am a Real Estate Agent and love selling around here!
