KPW, what personal problems of Star are you referring to in your earlier post?

rumors of marital issues.

There were rumors about her husband even before they married.

Only she and her husband know the truth and perhaps those closest to them.

I hope for her sake she's not having to deal with personal issues on top of professional ones. But sometimes one can affect the other.. I think time will tell. I'd hate to think after such a lavish wedding and all the hype that she doesn't wind up humiliated.

From your description of the speech on Tuesday.. I don't know what went wrong. Maybe it was the principle with Barbara.. I hadn't done any searches to see what else is floating out there as far as what happened on Tuesday... I'm sure the majority of the info will come out or a good impression of what happened tonight on LK.
Maybe Barbara will call in... with her side..and they'll iron everything out.

I have a feeling that Star presents one thing publicly and another in private. Might go hand in hand with why the show is tired of her diva behavior and their desire for a change.

ugh... I meant to say that I hope she doesn't wind up feeling humiliated if the marriage does wind up failing so soon after all the hype and huge wedding.

I think what I've read and heard 'gossip wise' is that her marriage is in trouble.... I think I even read that her husband is supposedly gay (don't hold me to that I can't find where I *think* I read it)... there's been a lot of talk of her being just too big for her britches as in a major diva attitude all around.... I think it's been said that she and Joy don't get along or like each other much... .there's been tons and tons of flack over her weight loss and claiming it's been all exercise and diet....and her refusal to discuss the bypass and plastic surgery she has had... and you can tell by pics of her that she's had plastic surgery... those wings under your arms don't vanish in a month after a big weight loss (she's just lucky she didn't end up like Christie with the scars) ... and a lot of people were turned off by her very commercial gimmegimmegimme wedding....

and personally, I think the problem (besides the production of the show) with announcing it earlier than planned was her way of 'one upping' Barbara.... Odds are she would have gotten the big send off like Meredith had, but she must have decided she didn't care enough to stay around for that... I think it was the wrong was to handle things and in life you just don't go around burning your bridges... especially with someone like Barbara Walters.... we're not talking just 'some' boss or just 'some' reporter... it's Barbara Walters.... that's a pretty important and helpful bridge to burn...

granted, I have a huge amount of respect for Barbara compared to what was only a fair amount for Star Jones.... and that respect has tumbled down to very little after this....

Never go back through your back button to get back to a site.. If the page comes up saying... time expired..hit refresh... Don't.... or you might likely wind up with wierd duplicate posts!

I've done it twice in the last day or so.. Maybe both in this thread????!
