Anybody see today's Dr. Phil rerun? It's only half over and I can't help but think about Lisa N.. (#1)... The first segment was about a young man who wasn't working and enjoying living off his grandfather and in his house and using his car and in general mooching off of him. (His grandfather raised him). Anyway, this young man reminded me so much of Lisa... I guess he at least is young enough that maybe it won't be so ingrained in him that he doesn't put forth a genuine effort.

I think the show's topic is 'freeloaders'....

I really hope Lisa saw this show.. She would have to recognize herself too.. Her parents just made her a little bit more of a discreet moocher by buying her her own place. Never the less... she was still mooching.

I have seen that show before but a little yesterday. I liked what Dr. Phil said to another guest father who would not stop allowing the freeloading. At one time he had 13 people living in a mobile home. The father said I know it's not right, but, sometimes you just love your kids so much. Dr. Phil said that it is not about love for your child, because you are crippling your child and depriving them from a healthy life by doing it. He said the father was more concerned with his own happiness and not the best interest of the adult child. I don't think Dad got it or the Mom. She sat there looking pleased as punch with herself.

That same couple seemed clueless when Dr. Phil explained that the couple's minor children had a right to the space in the house and the time, energy and attention of the parents, without adult relatives intruding. Why would they not see that?

Honestly, some of those guests really frustrate me. I think that job would drive me nuts. Sometimes I wonder if I think about things too much, but, it seems as if some people never think about anything at all.

Must be the theme of the week!

Yes, I saw that one yesterday too... I think it was the second half of the same show.. And todays show was about another young woman who had come back home and made the families life a living you know what!

Dr. Phil pretty much said that as long as you take it, she's gonna do it..

I do hope Lisa's parents did wake up and smell the coffee. I have a feeling that Lisa had her dad wrapped around her pinky.. Since she mentioned that her mother wasn't supposed to know about some of the money he was doling out to her.

I remember Lisa speaking sharply to her mother on the phone at one point.. (when the house was having the mexican dinner for Allison when she was getting ready to leave..) Lisa didn't want to be a part of it..(said she didn't like mexican food) and her mother tried to encourage her..and Lisa was just nasty to her..and told her in essence she didn't know what she was talking about.

Lisa! It wasn't about the food dummy!

Anyway.. I do hope the family came away with a new game plan. I hope the rumors that Lisa was going to be working for Jet Blue airlines was true. I think it would be a great fit for her.. If she can show up on time...
