I am talking about the manner in which "Open Adoption" has been represented on this show. In "Legal Terms" Open Adoption means "Open Records", period. Pictures and letters would be nice, but not with a mother who is a druggy and an alcoholic.

Everyone makes their own choices. My only issue with Cassie is to accept that she made her own choices and must suffer the consequences of those choices, as we all must suffer for our own choices. Cassie still has an opportunity to change, become responsible and turn her life around. After all, isn't this the entire premise of Starting Over?????

I think that Cassie ...has...accepted and suffered...the consequences
of her actions, as well as the actions of others, in whom she placed her trust. She has made great changes in her life... of her own volition...long before SO entered the picture. Changing...in and of itself...is an act of contrition. Cassie cannot rewrite history, she can only try to make amends...which she has done. If we were all destined to be forever labeled re our mistakes, what would be the point of trying to improve or change?

Most women in the SOH were not able to come there and keep their jobs. Why would Cassie have been able to? That she lives in a rented room is a crime? Lots of people are in the same or similar situation. Are we to condemn people for being poor?

Seriously, if you have to ask what changes Cassie made, after watching her story...I'm not sure what to say. Perhaps she reminds you of someone? One of the Hgs was a trigger for me until I realized who I was ...really...angry with. It's worth a thought or two.

You claim that Cassie mad Big changes in her life....I am open...Just enlighten me?

I have no problem with "poor people" just people that live off others and refuse to work....Cassie has not had a job, nor been self supporting for over a year..season 2 to season 3. Prior to season 2, Cassie had been living off men, strangers......so again I ask...How has Cassie changed?
