cassie made bad choices--for whatever reason. taking responsibilty is a sign of maturity.

i don't see any of this as being about cassie really, but being about the child and the adoptive parents. the child and the adoptive parents have a right to say 'no'. cassie needs to respect that and understand that she can't always get what she wants.

the comment about the baby voice is very accurate. she certainly did use her voice to portray her neediness and manipulate people into taking care and doing for her. again, not taking responsibility for for herself.

Watched Cassie and son's meeting in rerun today, and enjoyed it even more the second time around!! Something was healed in that moment, for both of them. How their reationship will go..or not..who knows? But this was something special and precious.Caring and able have two very different meanings, and I think Cassie's son understood the difference immediately. I believe that if things are meant to happen, they will....and this did. It will...always...matter.

I watched the show again and it was one of the best episodes.

I was so happy that Cassie's son wanted to meet her too, however, I don't think the meeting would have occurred at the time it did, if Cassie had listened to the SOH and the so called legal advice they obtained for her. She took a chance and made a move, which thank God, it worked out great.

I agree! The legal advice given Cassie in the SOH was of the CYA variety...the show's A, that is!

It was ALL About Cassie,her poems, her wishes.....Cassoie NEVER engaged with her birth son...how can you people ignore Cassie refusing her responsibility???
