*big hugs* E-mama.. thank you for the update, you and your family are on my mind a lot and in my prayers always.

Grizz is so right, being the rock your sister needs right now is a great thing, but you can relax and let us and your other friends be your support system giving you a place to let it out. I think it's very important to take care of you so that you are even more equipped to take care of her like you want to. You are going through so much right now and I know it takes a toll... just please remember there are many that love and care for you here and you're always find a safe place to just 'be'. Whether you want to discuss health issues or just have people that you can let your hair down with and laugh a little so you can have that little space we all need in order to stay balanced.

Give her and your family my best and whenever you can we love to hear how things are going. Take care sweetie, hope to talk to you soon.

Grizz, Myst... thank you for your kind words, and prayers.

My sister started chemo. I'm very proud of her... she is fighting back. I'm praying that she has the strength and courage to keep fighting this terrible disease. She just had her first round... her doctor is planning six more... three weeks apart. She has already lost so much weight, strength, and appetite.

It's amazing what people can get used to. My heart hurts for her, but we all seem to be more accepting...

My daughter pointed out that my sister will have good days, and not such good days... that about sums it up... on the good days we're all helping her to enjoy, and get the most out of that day.

My sister had her second chemo treatment. It's so sad to see what the treatment of this disease is doing to my sweet sister. I know she will never be the same... I don't think anyone in our family will be the same. Today I'm feeling very sad... I know it will pass.
