Why did Jessica say to TJ you would dress up for Lisa dinner was she pissed at Lisa for her comments about Christina?

I reviewed my tape last night. Jessica said to TJ, "you'd dress up for her?" I think it was because Lisa just wouldn't shut up about Christina's past. From looking up definitions of "prostitute" on the internet to reading Christina's letter to making all those "stripper" references during Dr Stan's gardening assignment.
I remember how badly TJ upset Jessica with her slip of the tongue about "calling mom." But, understanding that TJ just wasn't thinking when she made that comment, Jessica got over it. I think it was Lisa's consciously making repeated references to Christina's past that pissed her off.

Not a reply, just my thoughts re Jessica. I have long wondered how
the relatives of those killed on 9/11 cope with the"anniversary
footage" shown on TV. Even though I always have a hard time
when the anniversary of my own mother's death nears, I cannot
imagine having it replayed over and over and over. I know the
powers that be feel it's an homage to those who died, but wonder
if they ever stop to think of those relatives. Perhaps some are
comforted, but I tend to think there are many who probably hate it
as much as Jessica. I always wondered out loud to my husband
about it, thanks to S/O, at least I know the answer from one person's perspective. I hope they do "tone it down" some.

I wonder thte same thing. Although, I did not lose anyone that I knew personally, it hit me hard. I still think about it much too often. I have talked to several people who feel the same way. It's difficult to explain.

I especially feel insulted with the comments that lady has made in her new book that attacks the 9/11 widows. I haven't read the book but I think she admitts to saying that these people enjoyed the notority associated with their loved ones death. I can't believe anyone could be so insensitive.

I think 9/11 hit every American hard. It still hurts every time I hear about it, or think about. Jessica's story touched my soul. It was heart breaking to see her pain.

The book lady's comments were very insensitive. I can only wonder what lengths this woman was willing to go to... to sell books. What a creep!

I think everyone was pissed off at Lisa. She acts like she is so innocent. She has continually puts Christina down and judges her, but yet acts like she is her best freind to her face. Reading her letter was so rude. Who would think that you should hide your writting so you can walk away for a minute. No one else read it, becuase they all knew it was rude. I wouldn't want to dress for her dinner either. But I think I would have said something to her right away about reading my letter. That just was WRONG!

i would have said something to her and skipped her dinner party too. but, i also would't have left my letters sitting out for all to see regardless, lisa was wrong wrong wrong to read it. no boundaries.

why do lisa and jill keep harping on the word 'prostitute'? it's rude. i feel so bad for christina.

Well said mazzy..........it is indeed heart-breaking to remember. Any death is.............they were all individuals that were lost.....not some mass group of faceless people!!

The lady that wrote the book, in my opinion, is USING the press and others who will naturally react to her vitriol!! She knows exactly what she is doing..............she IS what she is accusing others of being! I also fault the press as they are giving her what she wants...........I hold the belief that to ignore these types is the best way to go. Do not feed into them. Deny them the very thing they are after. *****sigh***** Oh well...........I suppose we will always have these types to deal with.
