Thanks for the recaps on that episode. I guess I did hear it right. I didn't understand why Jessica got upset that when others heard the news of the crashes, that they would call their family members. (mother) It doesn't sound reasonable to jump up and walk away crying because of that comment, IMO.

I didn't get the whole conversation... only the part where TJ mentioned calling her mom...and obviously Jessica couldn't...
I suppose it was the irony in it... now that someone mentions the whole topic being discussed... I am positive TJ didn't mean anything by it... All of us were in shock that day... I think it affected everyone. I remember where I was when I heard about it... and the visions of the whole morning unfolding over and over again via replays by every single station...
I didn't know anyone directly affected.. but yet...it affected us all. I can very much imagine how much more so, that Jessica's sense of loss is that much more devastating.
Today's misstep by Allison was an innocent one too... I am sure Jessica's reactions to TJ and Allison's comments might be over the top...because she is really just learning to deal with them.. and separate her mother's death and her own grief from the public tragedy. She will forever be reminded of it. I do hope her stint in the house allowed her to let how she died go and celebrate her mother's life and her legacy of love!
