Ok.....Dave G sometimes seems to be someone 'in the know' and sometimes seems to be just some 'dude' posting comments. Does anyone have the scoop on this guy? Is he connected to SO? And if so, why is he posting here? And if not, why is he posting here? Dave G - who [/i]are[i] you?????

Well he can answer this if he is so inclined.. but why is he posting here? Why not? He has as much right to post here as anyone else. I don't understand this questioning..

I rec'd a pm from his a couple months ago. And yes, he is someone in the industry from what I can surmise, or he is an awful good faker! ButI don't think he had direct ties to the show. He did admit to being a reality show buff.... and mentioned something about Jon Murray. Maybe that is how I got the impression that the B/M team was really leaning toward not doing the new season. I seem to recall him mentioning an upcoming meeting with him on other matters... so he may have known all along what was going to happen. Or his guess was as good as ours...

Since the pm system crashed a month or so ago..I've lost that pm so I can't double check.

But he was nice and I haven't seen him post with alot of regularity or even logged on as consistantly as most of us regulars...so if he does say something... I'd give it alot of weight! But that is just my impression and I respect him and his opinions. He has always spoken calmly and intelligently!
